Cranberry Swirl Loaf

Serves 8.

Tart, sweet and perfect for the season. It’s a delicious Cranberry-Cherry Swirl Loaf—made with our Limited Edition Cranberry-Cherry Preserves.

Preheat oven to 350° F

In standard mixer with dough hook attachment, add sugar, yeast, salt and 1 Cup of flour.

In a small pot, add butter & water. Heat until butter is melted. Remove pot from heat and add buttermilk.

Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients on low, slowly adding remaining flour until a dough ball forms. Increase speed to medium and mix for 2 minutes.

Slightly grease dough ball & bowl, cover with kitchen towel, and allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Roll dough into a rectangle, about 10×20.

Spread Bonne Maman® Cranberry-Cherry Preserves evenly across the dough, leaving about an inch from the edge for sealing.

Roll dough up, starting from shorter end until it forms one large roll. Seal the ends by pressing down. Slice in half, the long way, and gently braid together.

Place in greased loaf pan and cover for final proofing. Allow to double in size again then put in oven to cook for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.

Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving.

 

Topping:

In small bowl, mix Bonne Maman® Orange Marmalade and powdered sugar until well incorporated.

Pour over swirl bread, serve and enjoy!
