  • Are Bonne Maman® Preserves, Jellies, Spreads and Curd gluten-free?
    YES! All Bonne Maman® preserves, jellies, fruit spreads and curd are gluten-free. This claim is determined by the fact that all ingredients used in our products have < 20PPM which is required for this claim. Our production facility is therefore gluten-free as well.
  • Are Bonne Maman® Preserves and Jellies nut free?

    Our Bonne Maman® Preserves, Jellies and Fruit Spreads are made with only fruit, sugar, lemon juice and fruit pectin. None of our recipes use any peanuts or sesame nuts. Our Preserves, Jellies and Spreads are produced in a facility that does also make products containing chestnuts. We follow highly controlled and strict (HACCP certification) cleaning processes throughout our facility that minimize any risk of nut residue. We recommend that you discuss this information with your physician to evaluate whether Bonne Maman® is right for you and your family.

    Our new Hazelnut Chocolate Spread is produced with hazelnuts in its own facility.

  • What is the shelf life for Bonne Maman® products?

    We guarantee the quality of our Preserves and Jellies for two years (24 months) after production (see “Best if used by” date printed on the side of the cap). Lemon Curd and the Fruit Spreads are guaranteed for 1 year (12 months) after production. We recommend the above products be refrigerated after opening. Although we do not guarantee a specified period of time AFTER they are opened, by storing an open jar with the cap tightly closed in your refrigerator, these products should last for several weeks without a problem.

    Our Hazelnut Chocolate Spread has a shelf life of 15 months after production. However, it does not need to be refrigerated and best kept between 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Are Bonne Maman® products Kosher?

    Most of our products are OU Kosher. Hazelnut Chocolate is OU Kosher Dairy. The circle U authorization is on the front label of each jar. Our products are certified by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (NY). Our Muscat Grape Jelly, Lemon Curd, Advent Calendar flavors and 12 Days of Christmas flavors and Herbal Teas are not Kosher Certified.

  • Does Bonne Maman® contain high fructose corn syrup?
    NO! Our recipe for Bonne Maman combines brown cane sugar (derived from the cane plant) and sugar derived from beets. This combination of sugars is part of our time-honored recipe that helps to create the special Bonne Maman flavor and taste.
  • Are Bonne Maman® Preserves, Jellies, Spreads and Curd made with natural ingredients?

    YES! All of our preserves, jellies and fruit spreads are made with natural ingredients: fruit, sugar, cane sugar, concentrated lemon juice and fruit pectin. Bonne Maman Lemon Curd is made with sugar, lemon juice, whole eggs, butter and tapioca starch. Bonne Maman has no preservatives, no additives, no high fructose corn syrup, are sulfite-free and all preserves, jellies and fruit spreads are Non-GMO Project Verified.

  • What’s the difference between Preserves, Jelly, and Jam?

    Preserves are made from cooking whole fruits, including the skin and seeds. Each of Bonne Maman’s recipes in its 17 flavors of preserves ensures that pieces of fruit are present in each jar. Preserves feature a fuller fruit flavor compared to jams.
    Jellies are made from only the juices of fruits. Jellies offer a uniform texture, are clear, and firm compared to preserves and jams. Bonne Maman produces an assortment of 4 jelly flavors.
    Jams are made from crushed fruit and fruit puree, not whole fruit. Bonne Maman does not make jams.

  • How can I pay on the Bonne Maman E-Shop?

  • Is the payment secured?
    Yes, your payment is secured. We use Stripe Solution which received the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry., all card numbers are encrypted.
  • What should I do if my order does not go through?
    If you get an error message while placing your order or your order does not  go through, try to refresh your page or place the order from another device/browser.
  • I forgot to write a gift message for my order. Can you add it for me?
    There is no possibility to add a gift message once an order is placed. The order will have to be canceled and redone with the message. Please contact us at info@bonnemaman.us to ask for your order cancellation.
  • My order is a gift. Will the invoice be included in the package?
    Invoices are sent to you by e-mail and never placed in the packages. A packing slip with the order description and name of the buyer is placed in the box, but no invoice.
  • How can I track my order?
    Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with the tracking number associated to your package. You can also connect to your Customer Account, clicking on “Sign In/Register” and “Orders”.
  • How can I modify or cancel my order?
    Once an order is paid, we can’t modify or cancel it. We do our best to prepare and ship your order as fast possible to reduce delivery timings.

  • What is the Bonne Maman Shipping & Returns Policy?

    Our exclusive gifts are only available for delivery within the United States. Please note that all sales are final.

  • How many Advent Calendars can I order?
    You can buy up to 2 Advent Calendars per order.
  • Can I ship the Advent Calendars to more than one location?
    We can only ship to one address per order. If you wish to ship to multiple locations, you need to place multiple orders: 1 order per shipping address.
  • Can my order be held for a later shipment?
    There are no pre-orders available.
  • Can I ship an Advent Calendar outside of the USA?
    We do not ship to addresses outside of the USA. If you wish to ship to Canada, our colleagues in Canada will offer the Bonne Maman Advent Calendar tailored to the Canadian market. Please check the Canadian website at www.bonnemaman.ca for availability.
  • How long are your delivery timings?
    During the checkout process, you will have the option to choose from available FedEx delivery methods : Ground Shipping, 2 Day Shipping, Overnight Shipping.
  • How much are your delivery timings?
    Your shipping cost can be determined using the table on our Shipping Policy Page. FedEx 2 Day Delivery and FedEx Overnight are not eligible for the flat shipping rates, standards Fedex Shipping rates will apply.
