Brighten up your window sills, or give some colorful spring gifts with Mini Jonquils in a jar—a DIY, flower-filled jar hack using your empty Bonne Maman jars.
Supplies:
- Empty Bonne Maman jars
- Paint in the color(s) of your choice
- Potting soil
- Small decorative rocks
- Flower bulbs, such as tulips, daffodils, or hyacinth (make sure bulbs are pre-chilled)
Instructions:
Paint the outside of your empty Bonne Maman jars
Place a layer of rocks in the bottom of each jar. This helps promote proper drainage.
Next, fill your jars ⅔ up with potting soil.
Now, plant your favorite bulbs, place them in a sunny spot, and water as needed.
Once they bloom, decorate your home or give them away as springtime gifts!
