Re-use those Bonne Maman® jars as holiday gifts! Pack them full of candied nuts, tie on a cute holiday bow and tag and hand them out to your friends, loved ones, and neighbors this holiday season.

Candied Nuts Ingredients
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- ½ to 1 tsp Pasilla Pepper Powder
- 1 Egg White
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 tbsp Bonne Maman® Raspberry Preserves
- 4 cups Unsalted Raw Pecans
Preheat oven to 250 ° F and grease a large rimmed baking sheet.
Whisk sugar & pasilla pepper powder together in a small bowl.
In a medium mixing bowl, beat egg white until thick and forms soft peaks.
Fold in the Bonne Maman Raspberry Preserves.
Fold in the pecans, stirring until they are all coated with the egg white. Add in the sugar mixture, again stirring until all the pecans are coated.
Spread nuts into a single layer on baking sheet and bake for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes, until pecans are dry.
Note : Chipotle, Spanish paprika, and cayenne all work to different effect. Pasilla is a naturally rich and fruity-flavored chile. Paprika will be spicier and smokier, Chipotle will be more so. Cayenne will add heat but not much flavor. We feel that less is more when using the spicier chile powders, unless you’re comfortable with spicy food.
