Brie, Bacon, & Fig Preserves Grilled Cheese

Ingredients

14 ounces Brie, rinds removed and sliced

8 slices bread

1 cup Bonne Maman Fig Preserves

8 slices of bacon

4 tablespoons of butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with foil and lay bacon in a single layer. Bake the bacon until crispy, about 15 to 20 minutes. Transfer bacon to a plate lined with paper towels. Once cool, cut the bacon in half.

Evenly spread Bonne Maman Fig Preserves onto 4 slices of bread. Then divide the brie slices on the other 4 slices of bread. Add 4 (halved) slices on top of the brie to create a sandwich.

Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat and melt butter. Add sandwiches and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes, flip and cook for another 3 minutes. You might have to do these in batches depending on the size of your skillet.
