Whip up a delicious and easy frozen yogurt pie swirled with chopped cherries and Bonne Maman® Cherry Fruit Spread on top of a crispy, flaky pie crust made with Bob’s Red Mill Organic Regular Rolled Oats.
- ½ Pie crust (follow Bob’s Red Mill recipe or buy premade)
- 32 oz Greek Yogurt
- 1 Cup Whipping cream
- 2 Tbsp. Honey
- 1 Jar Bonne Maman® Cherry Fruit Spread
- 1 Cup Fresh cherries, pitted and halved
Makes 8 servings
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Follow the Bob’s Red Mill Flaky Pie Crust recipe here, or buy a premade pie crust. Once hot, bake pie shell for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool. Once cooled, cut in half and crumble half of the crust into quarter sized pieces. (The half can be frozen for later use!)
In a large bowl, combine the yogurt, whipping cream and honey. Using an immersion blender, whip until light and fluffy, about 45 seconds.
Add Bonne Maman® Cherry Fruit Spread – More Fruit, Less Sugar*, fresh cherries, and crumbled pie crust. (Reserve a handful of fresh cherries to top loaf.) Using a rubber spatula, gently fold the fruit spread, cherries, and pie crust into the yogurt mixture. Do not over mix.
Pour mixture into a loaf pan and top with fresh cherries. Put in freezer and let set.
Can be enjoyed soft after an hour or so, or three hours once hardened.
