Fig, Prosciutto and Parmesan Appetizer Pizza
Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
Sprinkle some flour out on a cutting board or another smooth, flat surface and roll out your dough. Add the dough to a cookie sheet that has been sprayed with cooking spray and drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
Cook in the oven for 10 minutes. While waiting for the pizza to cook, tear the prosciutto into thin strips.
Take dough out of the oven when lightly browned. Evenly spread the fig preserves, prosciutto and shaved parmesan over the entire pizza. Broil for 1-2 minutes.
Top with arugula or pesto for taste. Cut into pieces, and serve.
TIP: This recipe can also be used to make mini pizzas. Separate the dough into small circles before placing in the oven.
